About David

David Vasquez is an accomplished leader who continuously seeks to leverage his multidisciplinary background to create innovative solutions at the intersection of business, policy, and social impact. He has held positions at prestigious companies such as Bain & Company, Bank of America, Ares Management, Redesign Health, and Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO). He also served in the Office of the Governor of California (Newsom Administration) as Special Assistant to the Senior Advisor on Social Innovation where he focused on public private partnerships across the state. David was a member of the 2018 Inaugural Cohort for the Knight-Hennessy Scholars Program at Stanford University where he received both his Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Public Policy (MPP). He also has a B.A. in Financial Economics from Columbia University. On a more personal note, David is was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and considers himself a true city kid. When he is not coaching, you can find David hanging out with his insanely cute (bias) dog Billie.

Why do I coach?

I grew up in a low income household with very little sense of the professional world I would soon find myself in. If it were not for the coaches who saw the potential in me (even when I did not always see it in myself), I would not be here writing this to you all now. There is nothing in the world I care about more than helping others find their true selves and aligning their time and energy towards that purpose. Whether that be in a career, going back to school, or showing up every day the best version you can be, I coach because I care about the person sitting across from me even if we are not yet acquainted. Let's work together, find your authentic "why," and set you on a path towards success!
