About D'Andra

Hey there! I'm Dr. D'Andra Moss, your go-to coach for turning dreams into reality. My journey began in the vibrant streets of Atlanta, where I first fell in love with the game of basketball. This passion took me around the globe, playing professionally for over a decade and soaking up life lessons from courts in every corner of the world, including the WNBA's Chicago Sky. But basketball was just the beginning. With a fierce drive for understanding the human mind, I earned my PhD in psychology while I was playing, blending my sports experience with academic insights. Now, I’m not just a former pro athlete; I’m a doctor who knows how to get inside your head and help you unlock your true potential. These days, although I still play when my knees allow me to, I've hung up the Nikes for a computer, leading innovative projects as a product leader at LinkedIn. I'm proud to be one of the few Black product managers in tech, breaking barriers and paving the way for future leaders. My unique blend of sports discipline, psychological expertise, and tech-savvy makes me uniquely qualified to coach you to success. Whether you’re looking to excel in your career, conquer personal challenges, or pivot like a pro, I’m here to guide you. Let’s team up and make your goals a slam dunk!

Why do I coach?

Why do I coach? It’s a question that takes me back to my days as a professional basketball player and my journey beyond the court. While still playing professionally, I pursued a PhD in psychology, driven by a need to overcompensate for what I feared was a lack of relevance outside of sports. I thought my basketball life wouldn’t matter in the "real world." Little did I know, the skills and discipline I developed on the court were incredibly valuable off it as well. But that realization didn’t come easy, and that’s part of why I coach. Breaking into the tech industry as a woman of color and an ex-athlete was no small feat. The gates of tech can seem impenetrable, but I firmly believe that we have so much to offer. I coach because I wish I had known then what I know now. The opportunities I’ve had were made possible because many people believed in me and invested their time in my growth. Now, it’s my turn to pay it forward. There’s nothing more fulfilling than helping others achieve their goals and realize their potential. Seeing my clients succeed is my ultimate reward, and it’s what drives me every day to be the best coach I can be.
