Carmen’s AP Exams Qualifications
Scored a 5 on the AP Exams
Math was always my strong suit, and taking AP Calculus was a turning point in my career path. Once you know calculus, the whole world of science opens up. Rather than learning and memorizing facts, you can start making sense of the world in terms of rates (derivatives) and accumulation (integrals). Calculus is joyful for me, and I am confident I can help you feel it too.

About Carmen
Part of my ADHD is that I blank on specific words sometimes. I've gotten really good at explaining myself in creative ways. That skill has led to some amazing experiences while I have helped my loved ones with their homework and test prep. When you feel like you've had the same script 100 times and you still don't get it, I'm the tutor you're looking for.
Why do I coach?
School came naturally to me until I hit my limit. When my ADHD and ASD really started to impact my schoolwork and life satisfaction, I joined a coaching club at school. Meeting with someone who passed no judgment on a regular basis was often the only thing keeping my hope kindled. Now that I'm through the hard patch, I want to help other people through their hard patches.
