About Cameron
I grew up outside of Boston and attended Roxbury Latin, after which I attended Brigham Young University and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Microbiology. Since my high school days, was interested in becoming a doctor, and worked diligently to cultivate a strong application despite coming from a mid-tier undergraduate program. After scoring in the 99th percentile on the MCAT, I was accepted to multiple T20 medical schools and matriculated at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, currently the #2 med school in the country. I am currently a 2nd-year Internal Medicine resident, applying for Gastroenterology fellowship this year. I have extensive tutoring background as a paid tutor for undergraduate basic science courses, and then as a tutor for Bespoke Education in New York City during my gap year, where I tutored for the MCAT, SAT, ACT, and various subject tests.
Why do I coach?
I coach because I know that applying to medical school and being accepted is a multi-year process that takes foresight, dedication, hard work, and more than a little bit of luck. I was fortunate to have a village of coaches, mentors, and confidantes who aided me through the process. Each mock interview, essay proofread, and word of encouragement got me closer to where I am today. I am confident I can help you with your application—not just because I was recently in your shoes, but because I’ve spent the last decade of my life in the industry of medicine. I have extensive knowledge of the course material, but also the ins and outs of academia and the application process.
