Why do I coach?

As a first-generation Latino college graduate, I not only had to navigate the college admissions process myself, but also teach myself career readiness, career advancement, and how to navigate the corporate sector as whole. It was a steep learning curve across the board as I had nobody from my family or friend group that had background to guide me in this process. Now that I have successfully maneuvered the corporate sector for the last 7 years following a full-ride to UPenn, I hope to alleviate the stress of these pivotal life adjustments for others embarking on these journeys. Coaching matters to me because looking back I know how extremely helpful it would have been for me, so I want to serve as that resource for others. Whether you are looking for guidance in the college admissions process, obstacles that come up during undergraduate experience, post-grad hiring, career pivots, or career advancement, I am here to help in that process.

Senior Product Manager

October 2024 - Present

As a Senior Product Manger for Nubank, I lead the launch of the lending product in Nubank's new market expansion. Given Nubank's mission to democratize access to financial resources for underserved markets in Latin America, it is important to understand the pain points and needs of the local market and how can best fill gaps not met by traditional banking sector. I develop the multi-year roadmap and implement strategy to optimize revenue for lending business unit, as well as the new market overall. Identifying new segments to expand into, conducting discovery on potential product enhancements to improve user experience and behavior, and identifying new revenue opportunities are key parts to my role. I am leading launch of a new financial offering in an emerging market, so close coordination with regulators and legal and compliance is key.

As Head of Product for Financial Wellness product with Goldman's Asset Wealth Management division, I led a digital platform that helped people to achieve their financial goals and reduce their stress. With an audience of 1.5+ users, I led a team of multiple product managers and 20+ engineers to launch 4+ products from concept to launch to better guide users in their financial journeys. I directed strategy and implementation of partnership integrations, managed cross-functional stakeholders, led product roadmap development, and conducted user/market research.
