I've been integrated in the tech sales world for the last 7 years (2 during undergrad + 5 professionally). During my undergrad experience, I recruited for two school years (+ 2 summer internships) and gained an understanding of the most important aspects of the internship and full-time recruiting process. I've had experience on both the interviewer and interviewee side for internships and full-time positions with tech companies including LinkedIn, Okta, and Podium. I've also navigated the internal promotion process and layoff/rehire at LinkedIn. My experience includes both top and bottom-of-the-funnel work in marketing, sales development, account management, and ops. Duke MBA Admissions A little more about my background: I spent the first 5 years of my career working in tech sales at LinkedIn, Okta, and Podium, complimented by sports partnerships experience at the 76ers and BYU. I began my sales career in sports as a marketing intern with the Philadelphia 76ers, followed by a partnerships role with BYU Athletics. I then joined Podium as the first-ever sales intern where I worked in both sales ops and business development. After graduating with a Marketing Degree at BYU, I joined LinkedIn as a Global Sales Associate in their Business Leadership Program. This consisted of cross-functional work with customer ops, talent acquisition, deal desk, sales ops, monetization strategy & ops, and sales development. After our team was impacted by a pandemic layoff, I joined Okta as an outbound SDR. I returned to LinkedIn shortly after as an inbound SDR and was quickly promoted into a closing role as an Account Director role where I worked until leaving to begin my MBA at Duke.
