Experience level: Product Manager

10+ people coached for Product Management

If you're looking to break into product management, I know exactly what it takes because I’ve been in your shoes. I successfully transitioned into product management myself, working across Series A startups, seed-stage companies, late-stage ventures, and FAANG giants. This means I can help you navigate the unique challenges of securing a product role at any stage of a company’s lifecycle. As the Product Management Curriculum Lead for the Tech Club at Yale SOM, I developed a comprehensive program to help MBA students, just like you, transition into product roles. I’ve coached numerous classmates and colleagues into product management careers, equipping them with the tools and strategies they needed to succeed. Whether you're aiming for a startup or a major tech company, I can help you craft your narrative, identify the right opportunities, and land the product role that aligns with your goals.

About Brandon

If you're feeling uncertain about your path to higher education or an MBA, I understand exactly where you're coming from. As a first-generation college student with little guidance, I navigated similar challenges—facing a GPA and work experience that were below the average for top MBA programs. But through strategic networking, refining my story, and making the most of every opportunity, I was able to secure admissions to four of the top 15 MBA programs, with three full-tuition scholarships and one 50%. Like you, I didn’t have it all figured out, but I found a way to make it work. Now, after building a career in tech and becoming an Associate Director of Product at a pioneering food tech company, I know firsthand that success is possible, even when the path seems unclear. My journey was full of trial-and-error, and it taught me that with the right approach, you can overcome the odds, just as I did.

Why do I coach?

If you're feeling lost in your academic or professional journey, you're not alone. I've been where you are—unsure of the next steps and having to figure things out on my own. I had to work hard to compensate for the gaps in my profile and learn how to succeed through sheer effort and trial and error. That’s why I coach. I want to help you navigate your journey with more clarity and efficiency than I had. Whether you’re a first-generation student, underrepresented, or someone with a non-traditional background, I can help you overcome the same hurdles I faced and find your own path to success. My goal is to help make your journey smoother and more direct, giving you the tools and insights to succeed on your own terms.
