Avery has helped clients get into these schools:
I am a qualified medical school coach because I had great success in my medical school application cycle, interviewing with 5 top-30 medical schools and selecting a top-5 medical school to attend. I applied and was accepted to medical school as an undergraduate student and matriculated straight from undergrad to medical school at 21 years old. This feat required me to master the necessary study strategies and time management, networking, standardized test-taking, and writing skills to produce an impressive application. One of my mentees was accepted into a top 5 medical school this cycle, and two others are preparing to apply in the next cycle.

About Avery
I am a third-year medical student at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), passionate about mentoring premed students and guiding them through the medical school application process. I graduated summa cum laude from UNC Chapel Hill and matriculated directly into medical school, giving me firsthand insight into what it takes to craft a competitive application. With an up-to-date perspective on MCAT preparation, personal statement writing, and strategically positioning experiences to highlight key applicant qualities, I help students maximize their strengths and stand out to admissions committees. Additionally, my experience as an admissions interviewer for the UCSF School of Medicine Class of 2028 has provided me with valuable insight into how top medical schools evaluate candidates. My goal is to equip aspiring physicians with the knowledge and confidence to achieve their medical school dreams
Why do I coach?
Mentorship is essential for a successful medical school application cycle. There is a "hidden curriculum" when it comes to presenting yourself as an impressive candidate to medical schools. My mentor was crucial in helping me build and maintain my network of professors, researchers, and physicians, find enriching opportunities to demonstrate my passion for medicine, and prepare for deadlines throughout the application process. I would love to pay it forward and be a resource for other aspiring doctors.
