About Alice
Hi! My name is Alice and I am an Endodontics resident at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. I have extensive experience advising students on dental admissions. As I have no family in the dental field, I had to pave my own path and find experiences, research, and extracurriculars that would not only help my dental application but were also activities I was genuinely passionate about. I firmly believe that applicants should not have a “cookie cutter” application but should instead find their own interests, passions, and story to apply as unique and memorable candidates. I have helped dozens of students come up with their individual angles for their personal statements to illustrate their journey into dentistry, and I also work with my students to prepare for interviews. I have been successfully accepted into every dental school I interviewed at, including Harvard, Columbia, and UPenn, and love to share my own experiences with preparing for dental school interviews.
Why do I coach?
The dental application cycle is challenging, and it can often feel overwhelming to think about where to even begin to build your resume, ask for letters of recommendations, prepare for interviews, work on the AADSAS application, and decide on the right dental school for you. I love working with my students because I can help them through these areas of uncertainty that I experienced when I applied to dental school with no family in the dental field. I was lucky to find mentors and upperclassmen who helped me refine my application, and I believe that I was only able to score well a 29AA on my DAT, be involved in numerous extracurriculars, write a personal statement I am proud of and is true to myself, and get into my top choice dental school because of them. I want to help my students to have the best application possible to increase their chances of getting into their dream dental school.
