About Alberto
I am Alberto Sánchez Herrero and I have worked in consulting for 15 years, last 5 at McKinsey & Company as Associate Partner. I have been consulting interviewer in more than 500 first and second round interviews at McKinsey, Accenture and PwC. I have seen everything at consulting interviews (once a candidate tried to bribe me!). I know what makes a good candidate and how consulting firms really evaluate during interview process. With that knowledge, I have developed my own methodology to coach +100 people in less than a year, helping them to join top consulting firms, including McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Oliver Wyman, Strategy& and Accenture Strategy, among many others.
Why do I coach?
I have three passions: (1) Solving problems: that helped me to develop a long term career at consulting, a profession that I loved! (2) Teaching: I am professor in a business school since 2018 and mentor in several startups. I love explaining complex concepts in a very simple way (3) People: I believe in everyone's potential. Because of that, I have mentored dozens of junior colleagues inside and outside consulting and I am an ICF certified executive coach Consulting coaching joins these three passions to help others start their careers in strategic and management consulting.
