Open to working with clients outside the U.S.
I am a graduate of BYU and Harvard University and a current student at Stanford Law School. I have been through countless application cycles throughout my educational path and have been admitted to some of the top universities in the country. I am also a published writer with a sense for detail as well as broader narrative. I love working with applicants to college to think through who they are and what they want out of their undergraduate experience--and then help them get into the schools that match those goals without falling into ultra-stressful, ultra-competitive race that college admissions can often turn into. I am happy to provide help in any way I can, including application input/editing, insights into various universities, and general advice on educational outlook as students take this transformative step in their lives.

About Aidan
As a kid, I loved to read, write, draw, and explore the woods behind our little house in Northern Virginia where I grew up. This love for thought and creativity has always stayed with me. Today it inspires my love for all things academic! I started my undergraduate education at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland where I studied International Relations. I then transferred to Brigham Young University, where I double-majored in Russian and European Politics. Last year, I graduated from Harvard University with two master's degrees: a Master's in Public Policy and a Master's in Theological Studies. I am now studying for my J.D. at Stanford Law School. My interests are diverse, but most importantly I am passionate about creative answers to the big questions in society, government, and life.
Why do I coach?
Throughout my academic career, I have learned that the most valuable thing to have is a good mentor. I have benefitted from people who have gone before me and know the specific ins and outs of the institutions I've been apart of. That clear guidance has been invaluable to me. I have also seen how hard things can be when you don't have good mentors to show you the ropes. I want to be sure that I pass on what I've learned to others, so that they have all the help they need to make informed decisions about their direction and their values. It's not just about getting ahead, after all. It's about finding a sense of purpose and satisfaction -- something more fundamental than applications, degrees, and careers. I'm ready to do whatever I can to help people along that path.
