About Ahmed
Hi there! My name is Ahmed Abdelkader, and I'm a current medical student at the University of Toronto. My journey has taken me all over North America, from growing up in Indiana to living in the Bay Area, and now going north of the border to Canada. Through these experiences, I've gotten to meet so many people from different cultures and backgrounds, which has been a huge asset in my professional coaching career. I've been a coach for over 5 years now, and there really is no greater feeling than seeing a student achieve the goal they've set out for. It's what keeps me going, even now as I've begun my medical career. Mentorship has always been a passion of mine, and I plan on continuing to incorporate it in my life alongside my medical education.
Why do I coach?
Standardized tests are a difficult part of the admissions process to almost any level of education, whether it be undergraduate admissions or post-graduate/professional school (i.e. Medicine, Law, etc.). Often times, these exams test knowledge and skills in a way that's unlike what students have seen in school up to that point. Coupled with how much information there can be on the internet regarding the importance, difficulty, and nature of these exams, it makes it extremely important to get sound and individualized advice. Having benefitted myself from several mentors who've helped me navigate the SAT, MCAT, and undergraduate + medical admissions, I know first hand how much of a difference that makes, and it's a privilege for me to be able to be that reliable resource for others as a coach.

I founded this company in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, after seeing how much students were struggling to transition to online learning. This left many high school seniors stressing about moving onto university and had them feeling unprepared. Originally, the company started as a bridge program called Summer School U that aimed to alleviate some of the stress of starting a university education. The program offered 4 first year level courses (biology, calculus, chemistry, and physics) delivered via zoom using 100% original notes, practice questions, and quizzes. The innaugural program was a profound success (193 students and $5000 raised for 2 charities), and that sparked a full time commitment to the company year round. We then expanded to offer year round K-12 and university tutoring, SAT and MCAT services, as well as continuing the SSU program. Leadership, Bookkeeping and +5 skills
