About Ahmad
Ahmad Hider, MPhil, is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Michigan Medical School. He received his undergraduate degree in Biomolecular Science from the University of Michigan and his master’s degree in Translational Biomedical Research from the University of Cambridge where his dissertation focused on further understanding idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. Ahmad is interested in understanding the global epidemiology of cystic fibrosis and the health disparities that exist between high- and low-income countries as it relates to diagnosis, treatment, life expectancy, and quality of care for CF patients. Outside of CF work, Ahmad loves to mentor students whether through medical school admissions, or navigating ways to crush the USMLE exams.
