Adam’s GMAT Qualifications
Scored a 740 on the GMAT
Hello and welcome! With a GMAT score of 740 (97th percentile), I successfully earned admission to the University of Oxford, where I completed dual Master’s degrees—an MBA and a Master’s in Public Policy. My GMAT preparation focused on mastering the essential maths rules, logic, and language skills needed for success, a method I now bring to my coaching. I understand the challenges of competitive admissions and the role the GMAT plays in standing out. Whether you're aiming to improve your quant skills, sharpen verbal reasoning, or develop a clear test-taking strategy, I offer actionable, tailored guidance to help you achieve your target score and reach your academic goals.

About Adam
I’m a development economist from South Africa, where my work included publishing research on development economics and animal welfare in the country’s largest informal settlement. With a First Class Honours degree in Economics from the University of Cape Town and dual Master’s degrees in Business Administration and Public Policy from the University of Oxford, I’ve built a strong foundation in strategic thinking and analytical problem-solving. My professional experience spans publishing on bank lobbying at the Bank of England and working as a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Company, KPMG, and PwC. I’ve led projects ranging from operational transformation to scenario risk modelling, combining data-driven quantitative analysis with a people-centred approach. Whether you’re looking for guidance in academic applications or career strategy, I’m here to help you navigate the path ahead with confidence and clarity.
Why do I coach?
I coach because I genuinely enjoy helping others navigate pivotal moments in their academic and professional lives. Through my own experiences in competitive environments, I’ve seen how the right support can make a significant difference in shaping opportunities and achieving goals, especially for those times we need someone to walk through the unknown together with us. Coaching gives me the chance to share what I’ve learned, from crafting compelling applications to approaching challenges with rigour and an open mind. I’m naturally curious about people’s stories and what drives them, and I enjoy the process of working together to uncover strengths and refine strategies. For me, coaching is about creating a collaborative and supportive environment where we can focus on your goals and bring out the best in your unique experiences. It’s deeply rewarding to see clients move forward with a renewed sense of direction and self-assurance.
