About Matt

I will be graduating from the MBA program at Stanford's Graduate School of Business in a couple of months. At Stanford, I was co-President of both the Real Estate and Travel & Hospitality clubs, as well as an editor for our magazine, Disclosure, and active in GSB Pride (our LGBT group). I was also admitted to Booth and Wharton's MBA programs. Before Stanford, I worked at Goldman Sachs for five years in the Merchant Banking Division, investing in real estate private equity and credit. Prior to Goldman, I graduated from Harvard University with a BA in English (secondary in Economics), where I was active in a number of extra-curriculars, including as a member of the men's heavyweight rowing team. I am also an interviewer for candidates applying for the undergraduate program at Harvard University. I've coached and mentored for the past several years, mostly for colleagues and friends. I'm excited to use this platform to share some of the wisdom and perspective I've gained, both through my experience and from peers having gone through the application process and attending other schools. I am excited to help applicants learn about the value of the MBA experience, craft a thoughtful and cogent narrative in their application, and, above all, use the application process as an opportunity to engage in meaningful self-reflection.
